Hot Sauce in Space

For our limited-run brand The Influencer Initiative, we ran an Instagram contest for kids who loved games, and we featured the winner in a unique game I was tasked with designing. The winner’s name was Falynn (@thesuperkidlife). I created a unique adventure-building card game where Falynn and her dog, Elle, find themselves jumping through mysterious glowing portals that lead them through a wild, random adventure that could find them in the desert, a tropical jungle, underwater, a frozen mountaintop, even in space. Falynn is armed only with her trusty backpack full of random items that she uses in order to survive the adventure and find her way back home. After a few rounds of play testing and tinkering by our team, the end result turned out to be a fun game full of unexpected twists, good for lots of laughs, and fun for kids and adults alike.
