Bubble Breath

For this project, I was tasked with exploring the viability of making lightweight cardboard masks that kids could wear on their heads and which would include a bubble wand-style ring or set of rings set in the mouth, so that kids could blow hands-free bubbles through the mouth of the mask. The mandate was to have the mask shipped and sold flat in a poly bag, but it also needed to be as few pieces as possible and not require a Master’s degree for parents to assemble. So my challenge was to engineer a fun foursome of complex animal head shapes, but with as much of a streamlined, simplified assembly as possible, and clearly written instructions. I think the end result achieved all those goals.
